A yet-to-be-identified person was struck and killed by a westbound car in front of 77 Main Street around 8:15 p.m.
Lockport Police aren't releasing any details, but ENP has confirmed that the pedestrian was crossing the street from the south to the north in the direction of the downtown apartment building.
LPD still has the section roped off and traffic is being diverted down Walnut Street -- away from the investigation scene.
The name, age, and sex of the deceased are all being withheld at this time.
UPDATE: Pedestrian killed on Main Street was 61-year-old male
