The Lockport City School District is making it easier for parents to keep eyes on their kids — figuratively speaking.
The school district has implemented a bus-tracking app called SafeStop for the new school year. The mobile app, available for Android and iOS devices, allows parents to monitor the status of their child's school bus in real-time.
The app means that parents will know exactly where the bus is and when it will be arriving to pick up or drop off their kids. It also means they'll know when the bus arrives at school or home. It updates every 30 seconds to provide parents with up-to-minute information.
