ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 25-year-old City of Lockport woman was charged early Monday morning with displaying a false inspection sticker on her vehicle.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Ashley V. Campbell, 121 O'Brien Dr., was stopped for what appeared to be an inspection sticker that had expired in August taped to her vehicle.
When patrol ran the information from her vehicle, they found that the inspection sticker didn't go with the car and that her inspection had actually run out in February.
Campbell was charged for the inspection sticker as well as for driving without a valid inspection. She was released on an appearance ticket to Town of Lockport Court on Sept. 24.
