TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 22-year-old Royal Parkway man was charged early this morning with DWI after being stopped on South Transit Road by Niagara County Sheriff's deputies.
Mitchell J. Noonan was northbound on South Transit Road at approximately 3:11 a.m., "failing to keep right, swerving into the median, across the double yellow line two separate times," according to NCSO.
He was determined to be intoxicated and found to have a .13 percent blood alcohol content in a preliminary breath screening test. A later test at the Niagara County Jail showed it to be .11 percent.
Noonan was held on $250 bail and set with a Thursday court date at Town of Lockport Court.
