At one point, Team ENP (us) was up on Team City Hall
(them) by a score of 6-1, as shown on the official score
board, aka the back of Craig Bacon's hand.

But in the end, it was a 7-7 final with Team City Hall tying it in the final inning Wednesday night at Outwater Park. After an extra inning of kickball, the two teams agreed that a tie wasn't a bad way to end the game.
The East Niagara Post team, comprised of ENP staff and contributors, as well as Miss Lockport Lea Sobieraski and team-member-for-a-day Eric Holz, kept the city team at bay after taking an early 7-2 lead. Team City Hall, made up of mostly members of the Lockport Police Department, chipped away at that lead slowly but surely.
Umpire (City Judge) Bill Watson declared the game an official tie and everyone went home happy.
In addition to the fun and games, team City Hall donated a dozen jars of peanut butter for the PB&J Drive, while team ENP members chipped in to donate $125 to the St. John's Outreach Center, including Holz who offered $20 for the opportunity to play.
