A 35-year-old Lockport man was charged with petit larceny and resisting arrest Wednesday after New York State Police picked him up on an active warrant in the City of Lockport.
According to NYSP, Nathaniel D. Smith, had stolen items from a local Dollar General Store on April 20.
Smith was transported from the Niagara County Sheriff Department to SP Lockport for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail to appear at a later date.
