Donald R. Newman of Lockport, husband of Blanche Bayne Newman entered into rest on Tuesday July 21, 2015 at the Niagara Hospice House.

Donald was born in Washington, PA on May 12, 1928. Son of the late George and Marie Oberndorfer Newman. Donald served in the U. S. Army from 1954 – 1956 and worked as an inspector for Harrison Radiator. He and Blanche were married on February 6, 1954 and spent 61 wonderful years together. Don enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and dog “Cody.”

Brother of Marie Hubbard of Bullhead City, AZ. and Donald was 1 of 12 children. Also survived by dear friends Steven and Brenda Perry.

No prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
