Kathryn “Boots” Capels entered into rest July 19, 2015 at the age of 89.

Former resident of Syracuse, NY and Silver Springs, FL. Devoted wife of the late Bernard Capels; dearest mother of Kristi (Peter) Polster and Larry (Sharon) Capels; loving grandmother of Trista (Aric) Hayden, Matthew (Lisa) Polster and Kevin (Mindy) Polster, Emily (Eamon) Coogan and Jessica (Billy) Brill; greatest joy came from her visits with her six great grandchildren Quinn, Seth, Wes, Aislinn, Finn and Aniela; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father and mother Frank & Aieleen Evans, brother and sister Bob (Gloria) Evans and Marion (Del) Yager.

Respecting her wishes, there will be no prior visitation. A private family service will be held at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home. If desired memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Srive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380 would be appreciated.
