ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The Niagara Arts Guild, an organization of practicing artists, will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at the Dale Association, 33 Ontario Street, room 127B.
Award-winning artist Richard Kersting of Amherst will present information to the Niagara Arts Guild on the technique of egg tempera painting. An ancient technique, egg tempera uses the yolk of a fresh egg to mix with pigment. The technique results in a smooth, colorful painting that lasts for centuries.
The meeting is free and open to all. Refreshments will be served.
The Niagara Arts Guild’s goal is to bring artists of all media types together to meet, network and inspire. The Guild meets on the third Friday of each month at the Dale Center from September through June and holds two juried shows a year.
