Jeanette L. Jones, 27, 15 Cortland Ave., Lower Apt., was charged around 10:40 p.m. Thursday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an equipment violation. According to the arrest report, Jones’ license came up as suspended when patrol ran her plate. She is due in City Court on Thursday.

Cedric R. Carpenter, 21, 224 Washburn St., Apt. D, was charged around 10:45 a.m. Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. According to the arrest report, Carpenter was in a physical altercation with a city woman, grabbing her by the throat, lifting her off the ground, and throwing her across the room. The woman was granted an order of protection and Carpenter was arraigned in City Court.
