A 16-year-old Price Street male was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana around 8 p.m. Wednesday. According to LPD, the teen was smoking marijuana in front of his 10-year-old brother. The boy is due in City Court on Monday.
Adrian D. Tester, 19, 43 Price St., was charged around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to the police report, Tester damaged a wall in a Price Street home with a folding pocket knife. He is due in City Court on Monday.
Raymond T. Johnson, 33, 407 Niagara St., Side Apt., was charged around 7:48 p.m. Wednesday with second-degree criminal trespassing. According to the LPD arrest report, Johnson asked a Washington Street woman if he could use her vehicle. When she declined to allow him, he asked for his gun, which was in the residence. She declined that request as well and left while Johnson was on the porch. When she returned, she was told that he had entered the apartment and she found that the gun was missing. Police met Johnson at his residence, charged him and confiscated the gun.
Shawn A. Awtry, 38, 157 Cottage St., Apt. E, was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the LPD arrest report, Awtry was found snoring on the couch of a city woman who had an order of protection against him. Awtry was arraigned in City Court on Wednesday.
