Sheriff James R. Voutour, in cooperation with North Tonawanda Police Department, Town of Newfane and the Badge of Honor Association (BOHA), will be honoring officers Thursday who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
The 9 a.m. ceremony at the Sheriff's Office will honor Sheriff Fred A. Bigalow, Deputy Sheriff William J. Fiegl, Jr., Deputy Sheriff Howard D. Mead, Matron Phyllis Myers, Deputy Sheriff Jeffrey A. Incardona, K-9 Rocky, Captain Arthur M. Beilein, Officer Albert J. Kasbaum, and Constable William C. Gray.
Aluminum signs depicting their end of watch date will be placed at the site in which they lost their life following the service at the Sheriff’s Office. The signs were donated by Ulrich Sign Company.
