Charles L. Smith Jr. of Newfane, entered into rest on Wednesday June 3, 2015 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, NY.

Charles was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 8, 1935. Son of the late Charles L. Smith Sr. and Marjorie Cossar. Charles retired from Sherwood Selpac in Lockport, NY. He was very patriotic, enjoyed gardening and tinkering in his workshop and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Newfane, NY.

Father of Patrick (Bonnie) Smith of Appleton, NY, Dennis (Lisa) Smith of Wilson, NY and Louisa (Ted) Nelson of Newfane, NY. Grandfather of Erica (Jon) Lorence, Laura (John) Vetter, Brandon, Amber (Zach) Gonyea, Derrick, Sarah and Stephen. Great grandfather of Hailey, Tyler, Mason, Ava, Liam and Madison. Brother of Nancy Smith, Janet (Jerry) Hursh, Larry Smith, John (Nancy) Smith, Linda Smith, Jack (Patricia) Smith, and the late Pearl, Jeanette, Marjorie, Bob, Richard Smith, Barbara Jenks and Cindy Smarr.

No prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
