ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
Work on Walnut Street between South Transit Street and Cottage is nearing completion and the roadway should be opened again to eastbound traffic soon.
Workers said today that they were finished connecting the water and sewer lines needed to accommodate the Salvation Army expansion and renovations and would begin taking down the barricades on the road.
Eastbound traffic has been diverted up Genesee Street to Cottage since Monday when workers needed unfettered access to areas under the street.
