Cescon, Mildred E. of Lockport, NY passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday April 29, 2015.

Born on October 23, 1913 in Lockport, she was the daughter of George and Mae Pritchard Salmons. In her almost 102 years of life, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, antiquing, bingo, bocce, cooking and spending time with her family. Mildred and her husband once owned and operated Townline Bowl in Ransomville, NY. She loved the music of the Glenn Miller Band, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Donald J. Cescon, daughter, Patricia Ann Cescon and siblings, Charles Salmons, Marie Lort and Margaret Rowland. She is survived by her children, Donald (Ada Rumburg) Cescon, Marilyn (late Frank) Minunni, Gary (Jean) Cescon and Deborah Harmon. Mildred was blessed with 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 1:00 PM from St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.

Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Niagara Hospice, Inc. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
