Irene M. Mittelstadt of Appleton, NY wife of the late Alfred Mittelstadt entered into rest Thursday, April 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and Niagara Hospice at home.

She was born in White Plains, NY, January 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Russell and Jane Ingram Kress. Irene’s husband Alfred Mittelstadt died November 1, 2014. She worked for Ridge Road Express as a School Bus Driver for 26 years. Irene cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irene enjoyed knitting, baking, traveling to Florida and ministry of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mother of Alfred Mittelstadt of Appleton, Kathleen Breidert of Newfane and Mary Jo (Robin Bars) McDonald of Lockport. Sister of the late Russell, Dorothy Voelker, Kenneth, Bill and Arthur. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held SUNDAY at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall 6452 Charlotteville Road Newfane, NY.
