ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
A frost advisory for much of Western New York, including East Niagara, is in effect until 8 a.m. Thursday.
The National Weather Service issued the advisory due to expected temperatures in the mid-30s and the potential for frost, damaging tender vegetation. A frost advisory is issued when frost is expected to develop during the growing season.
Any tender vegetation should be protected, while potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought inside away from the cold.
