TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 33-year-old Lockport man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana by New York State Police after being stopped for throwing a cigarette out his car window.
Jeffery L. Perfect was seen throwing a cigarette out of the window of his vehicle on Sunday, according to the NYSP arrest report. During the interview, an odor of marijuana was detected coming from inside the vehicle and a small clear plastic bag containing approximately 4 grams of marihuana and a marihuana smoking pipe containing marijuana residue was found.
Perfect was issued an appearance ticket and a uniform traffic ticket returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on May 5.
