The YMCA invites all boys and girls, ages 5–12 years old, in kindergarten through 6th grade, to participate in Spring Recess Fun Club.
The program is offered March 30 through April 2 and April 6. There is no program on Good Friday, April 3. Parents may choose to register their child at either location for one day or the entire vacation.
Holiday Fun club is a full day of activities including gym games and athletics, arts & crafts, swimming, snacks, walking trips, outdoor play, singing and stories and guest speakers. Fun club is a great opportunity for children whose parents need to work or it is an opportunity for parent’s who want their children to be busy, happy and safe with fun supervised activities.
The program is offered from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Early arrival begins at 7am and late pick up is available until 6:00pm, if requested at registration. Families have a choice in program location: Lockport YMCA facility, 19 East Avenue and Starpoint Central School in the Fricano Primary Building, Mapleton Road, Pendleton.
Advance registration is required and space is limited. Each child should dress to participate, including sneakers, outdoor clothes and bring a bag lunch, swim suit and towel. For more information call the Lockport YMCA, 434-8887 or come into the “Y” at 19 East Avenue to register.
