MIDDLEPORT — The Main Street Bridge will remain closed for another three to four weeks while it is painted.
The delay is due to the brutal cold during the month of February and early March, as well as areas that required more work than was previously known.
The bridge has been closed since Jan. 26.
Travelers are advised to follow the posted detour posted by using the Carmen Road Bridge.
