TOWN OF LOCKPORT — New York State Police charged 20-year-old Patrick J. O'Leary with unlawful possession of marijuana Sunday following a Transit Road traffic stop.
According to NYSP, O'Leary was stopped for having no visible front license plate. Troopers noticed an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and located a locked safe in the back seat. O’Leary made reference to the Trooper of marihuana in a safe that was in the vehicle. He was then transported to SP Lockport for further investigation.
The person who had possession of the key brought it to SP Lockport, where it was opened and found to contain approximately 5 grams of marijuana.
O’Leary was issued an appearance ticket and a citation returnable to the Town of Lockport Court for March 26.
