A 59-year-old Pendleton man was charged with a pair of felonies by New York State Police for allegedly falsifying injury claims.
James J. Moreland Jr. was charged Monday with first-degree perjury 1st and false statement insurance application. , a Class E Felony.
New York State Police in cooperation with the NYS Workers Compensation Board reports Moreland Jr. falsified alleged injuries to Workers Compensation. Moreland Jr. collected over $45,000 from April 2009 to June 2011.
He was scheduled to appear in the Lockport City Court on Wednesday.
