NEWFANE — A Main Street resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday that someone had stolen his identity.
According to the complainant, the IRS had sent him a letter advising him of the situation. He then called the IRS to confirm the theft before reporting it to NCSO.
The man told patrol that he believed the issue to have originated from a Target credit card.
