TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 27-year-old Lockport man was charged with pot possession following a St. Patrick's Day traffic stop.
According to New York State Police, Eliud Rendon was stopped on South Transit Road for speeding when Troopers detected an odor of marijuana emitting from his vehicle. During the investigation, a glass jar containing approximately 79 grams of marihuana and 2 glass marihuana smoking pipes was located.
Rendon was placed under arrest and transported to SP Lockport for processing, where he was issued an appearance ticket for fourth-degree criminal possession of marihuana and a speeding ticket returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on March 26.
