A 43-year-old Lockport woman was charged with identity theft after New York State Police say she put her electric bill in a family member's name.
Crystal L. Heschke was charged after if was discovered she had been using the NYSEG account in a family member’s name for approximately one year, according to NYSP. Over $800 had been charged to the account in that time.
Heschke is due on Town of Lockport Court on April 9.
