TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Niagara Falls woman reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone had taken some of her aunt's valium pills.

The woman said the approximately 17 of the 5 mg diazepam pills went missing from her aunt's Shunpike Road home sometime between March 13 and 7 p.m. Monday. The woman's aunt has 24-hour home care aids.

Patrol secured the empty bottle of diazepam and submitted it to ID for fingerprints. The Falls woman stated that only her prints should be on the pill bottle.

The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
