WRIGHTS CORNERS -- A 37-year-old Lockport woman was hit with numerous charges Sunday after New York State Police say she was driving with intoxicated a gave a false name.

According to NYSP, Jill M. LaForme was traveling northbound on Lockport-Olcott Road, swerving and driving off the road. After crossing the center line, she exited the roadway and ended in a snow covered field.

While interviewing LaForme, who gave a false name and could not locate her registration or drivers license, Troopers determined she was intoxicated. Investigation revealed after locating her ID, a suspended license through a computer check. She was found in possession of approximately 26 Sertraline Hydrochloride pills that were located mixed in a pill bottle with other prescribed medication.

LaForme complained of head and neck pain from the accident and was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Newfane by Miller Hose, where she was arrested and charged with operating motor vehicle impaired by drugs, driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, aggravated unlicensed operation, false personation and having a controlled substance in non-original container.
 
LaForme was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets to appear in Newfane Court on Tuesday.
