Katherine Ann Rogers Fricano passed away, Wednesday March 4, 2015.

Born on June 9, 1931 in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late William J. Sr. and Myrtle V. Bloomstine Rogers. Katherine received her Master’s Degree from Buffalo State College, and taught in Lockport City Schools for over 20 years as an Elementary School Art Teacher. She enjoyed the arts and tailoring clothing. Katherine married her late husband, Anthony Fricano in 1952, who passed away October 16, 2008.

Katherine is survived by her children, Amy J. (Robert M. Graff) Fricano of Lockport, David A. (Shelly) Fricano of Pendleton and Karen A. Fricano of Lockport; grandmother of five; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday 1-5 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
