TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Locust Street woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Monday that someone stole the car keys from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway.
According to the complainant, the unknown person took the keys at an unknown time between 3 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 a.m. Monday. She said she had left the keys in her vehicle and left the vehicle unlocked. She said when she went out to her vehicle Monday morning, the keys were missing and the glove box had been gone through.
Patrol advised the woman to obtain information from a vehicle shop concerning a way to secure her vehicle with an unknown person now having a key.
Patrol considers this case closed due to a lack of physical evidence and a lack of a suspect information
