TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 28-year-old Barker man is facing contraband and drug charges after Niagara County Jail staff say they found what they believe to be Suboxone strips on him during a search.
David Charles Griffon JR., 8480 Lake Road, had the contraband in the elastic part of his sweat pants, according to a report from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. Patrol secured and sealed the suspected Suboxone in an evidence bag.
Griffon was charged with first-degree prisoner contraband and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Town of Lockport Court and arraigned before being returned to jail. He is to return to court on Thursday.
