LATHAM — Kenneth Nole of Lockport has been promoted to the rank of Specialist with the New York Army National Guard, Major General Patrick A. Murphy announced.
Nole serves with the Company A (Engineer), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion. His promotion is a recognition of his capability for additional responsibility and leadership, Murphy said.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential. These promotions additionally recognize the best-qualified soldiers and attract and retain the highest caliber Citizen Soldiers for a career in the New York Army National Guard.
