WRIGHTS CORNERS — Two Wheeler Road residents reported to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office that GPS units were stolen from their vehicles recently.
In the first reported incident, a Wheeler Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone stole keys and a Tom Tom GPS system from his vehicle at some point between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at 4:30 a.m. Thursday while his car was locked.
The second incident, which took place at another Wheeler Road address between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, involved an unknown suspect taking a Garmin GPS and approximately $50 in cash, according to the complainant.
No suspects or witnesses were identified for either incident. The investigation is continuing.
