TOWN OF LOCKPORT — New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has reached a settlement with the owners of the Woodlands to repair nine homes in the manufactured home park on South Transit Road, according to the attorney general's office.
MHC The Woodlands LLC will pay approximately $20,000 per home to fix structural damages on the homes that were installed in 2008 and 2009 by a contractor hired by the former owner of the park. Damages include cracked walls and ceilings due to the homes' shifting.
Repairs are expected to be done in the spring.
