NEWFANE — A South Main Street woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this afternoon that someone damaged an outdoor faucet on her property.
The woman told patrol that the unknown person must have done the damage between 9 p.m. Thursday and 2:10 p.m. today. Patrol observed a hole in the side of the faucet pipe that appears to have been made by a flat head screwdriver.
The woman gave patrol a possible suspect. Patrol spoke with the woman, but she stated she did not have any knowledge of the incident.
NCSO considers this case closed pending the development of further information.
