WILSON — A 28-year-old Newfane woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after driving into a ditch on Wilson-Cambria Road on New Year's Day.
According to an NCSO report issued Wednesday, Eileen M. Collis, 4460 Nelson Road, Newfane, told patrol she was driving east bound on New Road when she drove into the ditch at the intersection of Wilson-Cambria Road.
Deputies administered field sobriety tests and determined her to be intoxicated. She was transported to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office where she was found to have a .20 percent blood alcohol content.
Collis was then taken to Niagara County Jail where she was held on $250 bail. She was to appear in Wilson Town Court on Tuesday to be arraigned on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with vehicle and traffic violations.
