TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Woodhaven Drive man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this afternoon that sometime in the last week, someone stole a toolbox and tools from the back of his truck.
The complainant said the Tuft toolbox and miscellaneous tools were taken sometime between Tuesday and noon today. He said the toolbox was secured under a cover on the bed of his pickup and could only be seen when the tailgate was open.
The man said he wasn't sure if the theft occurred while his truck was parked at his home or while he was elsewhere.
The total value of the toolbox and its' contents is approximately $1,000.
The investigation is closed pending new information.
