ROYALTON ― A 35-year-old Getzville man was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated on Gaport Road.
According to the New York State Police, after patrol stopped Mark D. Jenks in a speeding vehicle, they detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage from the operator and conducted standardized field sobriety tests which he failed. Jenks was placed under arrest and was taken to SP Lockport for processing with a BAC of .13 percent.
He was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Royalton Court on Feb. 10.
