Estella Seifert passed away Friday January 2, 2015 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport.

Born in Clarence, NY on July 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah Thumann Emendorfer.  Estella loved spending time with her family and animals, especially her chickens, she also enjoyed gardening and going to casinos, especially taking trips to LasVegas. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, for their excellent care, that they provided Estella.

Estella is predeceased by her husband, Paul Seifert, who passed away December 10, 1965 and her son Paul Seifert, who passed away February 13, 2013.

She was the mother of Richard (Barbara) Seifert of Rochester and Kathleen (Thomas) Nolan, Joan (Paul) Mayne and Mary Ann Sims, all of Lockport; Grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 12 and great great grandmother of 1.  Estella is also survived by her sisters, Esther Winter of North Tonawanda and Edna (Clifford) Page of Lockport.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday January 6th, 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10 AM in St. Mary’s in Swormsville, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville, NY.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Swormsville, NY.  Memorials to a Charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
