ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A would-be burglar couldn't bang through a metal door at a Dysinger Road apartment Tuesday.
According to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, the resident of the apartment told patrol that someone tried to break in sometime between 9 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, but failed to gain entry. Patrol observed several dents in the metal door to the apartment.
The resident told patrol that this is not the first time this has happened and gave police the name of a suspect. Patrol was not able to make contact with the suspect, though.
Patrol considers this case closed pending new information.
