Chana J. Mitchell, 22, 9 Prospect Ave., was charged around 9:25 a.m. with second-degree harassment. According to the LPD arrest report, Mitchell grabbed a woman and threw her against a wall on Nov. 16, nearly causing her to fall down a flight of stairs. Mitchell turned herself in to LPD this morning. She was slated for City Court this morning, as well.
Henry F. Spoon, Jr,. 31, 78 Irving St., was charged around 12:30 a.m. with second-degree obstructing government administration, third-degree menacing, two counts of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. According to the arrest report, Spoon had been asked to leave a Main Street bar and refused to do so. When patrol arrived, Spoon threatened the reporting officer approached them “in a threatening manner.” He was arrested after a prolonged struggle, which the report indicates included a TASER deployment. LPD found several pills on Spoon during the arrest. He was scheduled to appear in City Court on Monday.
Donald R. Majeot, 37, 165 Garner Ave., Upper apartment, was charged around 6:56 p.m. Thursday with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree stalking. According to the LPD arrest report, Majeot had entered a Saxton Street home without permission and hid under a bed Thursday morning. He was found Thursday evening in Amherst by Amherst PD and LPD and charged. He is due in City Court on Monday.
