Charlie J. Zanghi, 67, 8516 Akron Road, was charged around 10:35 a.m. Thursday with second-degree harassment. According to the LPD report, Zanghi took exception to the way a man was interfering with traffic as he was plowing a South Transit Street driveway. He hit the man’s vehicle with his fist then struck the man in the face, according to the report. He is slated for City Court on Tuesday.

Isreal M. Rivera, 37, 193 Washburn St., Apt. 2, was charged around 2:25 a.m. Thursday with second-degree menacing and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. According to the LPD report, Rivera made threatening motions towards a man while holding a knife. When he was being booked for that charge, patrol found an orange paper-like substance in a small metal container in his pocket. He is to be in City Court on Monday.
