GASPORT — A Barker woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone stole her jacket with her iPhone in the pocket.
The woman said she had been at the Dry Dock Inn on Sunday afternoon when she put the coat on the back of a chair while playing pool. When she went to get the coat from the chair the coat was missing, she said.
The complainant did not know who may have taken the coat and phone, and said there were several people in the bar at the same time as her.
The woman said the coat was a gray wool coat valued at $40 and that the salmon color iPhone 5C was worth about $300.
UPDATE: A family member of the victim tells East Niagara Post that the coat and phone were returned to the woman. (10:44 a.m.)
