TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 29-year-old Caledonia Street man was charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning after being stopped on South Transit Road for speeding.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Ryan M. Few, 231 Caledonia St., was seen traveling 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. When patrol stopped him, they determined him to be intoxicated.
He was transported to NCSO where the chemical breath test was conducted, showing him to have a 0.16 percent blood alcohol content.
He was remanded to the custody of the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 bail and was scheduled to appear at the Town of Lockport Court on Tuesday.
