TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 46-year-old Kenmore woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after New York State Troopers say registered a blood alcohol content of nearly twice the legal limit.
Justine Jopp was stopped Friday on South Transit Road for driving across the center line and crossing hazard markings on pavement. During the interviewing process, troopers smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from operator of the vehicle, according to her arrest report.
Jopp was administered the standardized field sobriety tests, which she failed. She was subsequently arrested and transported to SP Lockport for processing, where she registered a BAC of .14 percent and was issued citations to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on Jan. 8.
