James Edward Condon passed away Thursday December 18, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.

Born in Lockport on June 25, 1927, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Katherine A. Moody Condon. He graduated from Canisius in 1950 with a B.S. in Physics and a Juris Doctor from UB Law in 1965.  James served in the US Army during WWII from 1946 until 1947. He worked at Bell Aerospace and Sylvania.

James is survived by his wife Mary I. (nee Regan) Condon, who he married August 16, 1958; Cherished father of Katherine (Richard) Cavallaro, James M. Condon, Dorothy (Douglas Szpaicher) Frew, Edward (Beverly) Condon, Teresa (John) Slobodzian; Patricia (Roy) Bright, dear grandfather of Megan and Thomas Frew, Jennifer and Jessica Bright, Holly and John Slobodzian, and Kaylea, Brandi and Jacki Condon.  He was the brother of Dorothy Mae Condon and the late Mary Lucille Condon.

Friends may call Sunday December 21st 1-5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in All Saints R.C. Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Memorials to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220, would be appreciated by the family.
