TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Niagara Falls man stands accused by the New York State Police of shoplifting video games from Walmart.
According to NYSP, Troopers arrested Brian A. Emel, age 29 of Niagara Falls Monday, charging him with petit larceny.
A state police report says Emel concealed and walked out of the store with approximately eight Play Station video games valued over $140.
Troopers arrested Emel and transported him to SP Lockport where he was processed. Emel was found to have an active bench warrant for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation from the City of Niagara Falls Police Dept.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday and then turned over to City of Niagara Falls Police Dept to answer the warrant charges.
