ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
A 28-year-old High Street man is facing numerous charges after police say he fled from them Saturday morning.
Bradley A. Miner, 28, 54 High St., was charged around 11:10 a.m. Saturday with resisting arrest, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, second-degree obstruction, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker.
According to the LPD report, police were dispatched to the area of 54 High St. to investigate a vehicle driving without plates. When they arrived, the vehicle pulled into the parking lot at John Pound school and the operator — Miner — got out and started running. The report says he ran northwest towards High Street then south on Saxton Street. Patrol advised him to stop but he continued to run into a back yard on Saxton Street, where he was caught by patrol.
Police found hypodermic needles in the car during an inventory search, according to the report. The vehicle was towed and Miner is slated to appear in City Court on Jan. 5.
