An Olcott Street woman told Lockport police Friday that two packages that had been delivered to her were stolen between Dec. 20 and Dec. 21. The woman said the packages, which came from North Carolina, were delivered separately by UPS and Fed-Ex. Both were were delivered according to their tracking status, but they were taken before she got to them.

Jacqueline P. Stewart, 33, 143 Prospect St., was charged around 1:22 a.m. with two counts of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and a safety belt violation. According to the LPD report, Stewart was in a vehicle that was stopped on Hawley Street for a traffic violation. While being taken into custody, she admitted to having contraband. Police found a clear plastic baggie with cocaine and another containing heroin. She is to be in City Court on Jan. 5.

Leon P. Johnson, 30, 409 Washburn St., was charged around 1:22 a.m. with an equipment violation and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. According to the arrest report, Johnson was stopped for a traffic infraction and found to be driving without a valid license. His vehicle was towed and he is slated to appear in City Court on Jan. 5.
