sought Christmas Eve afternoon by LPD was caught a short while later on Washburn Street.
Robert D. Wright, 22, 25 Harvey Ave., was charged around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with second-degree obstruction of government administration and resisting arrest. According to his arrest report, patrol had seen him exiting 7-Eleven on Park Avenue and knew him to have a warrant out of Orleans County. Prior to LPD confirming the warrant, however, Wright was already out of sight.
A short time later, Wright was located at Genesee and Waterman streets in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church. When confronted by patrol, he fled.
Police set up a perimeter at the time and eventually found him in the back yard of a Washburn Street home.
He is slated for City Court on Jan. 5.
