ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
A Lakeview Parkway small business owner told Lockport Police this morning that someone had made more than $22,000 in fraudulent transactions on his business credit card in the past week.
The complainant told patrol that he had attempted to use his business credit card on Wednesday but the transaction was denied due to insufficient funds. When he checked with his bank, he found that since Friday, an unknown party had made $22,101.82 in purchases on the account in Erie and Niagara counties.
The card owner gave LPD a list of the businesses the transactions occurred.
The case was forwarded to the detectives division.
